With our FUP we aim to prevent overload of the network. So that not a single of our users will have any inconvenience in case of any abuse. Our FUP is to inform you and all our other customers about what can be expected from our services and to prevent anyone from facing unexpected costs. This way we are able to provide our services to all of our customers and, most importantly, you are able to use your VPS without any worries.
Unlimited traffic with fair use
Tilaa uses a Fair Use Policy (FUP) for all its services and products.
Our services include unlimited traffic, subject to fair use.
This means you can transfer large volumes of data without strict limits, als long as your usage does not negatively impact the performance or reliability of our network or other customers.
Article 6 of our Terms & Conditions lists our policy for the supply and use of our service.
Overloads in data traffic
When an individual customer uses much more traffic than the average of similar customers this can cause an overload of the Tilaa network resulting in inconvenience for others.
On our network we reserve the right to monitor the amount of data traffic. Under normal circumstances, there is no over-usage of data traffic. However in cases of excessive traffic Tilaa will contact the customer about how to normalize the usage. If there is no reaction and the usage does not normalize, Tilaa can (temporarily) block data traffic or charge the customer.
