Fail-over IP
A fail-over IP address; an essential part of any cluster. You can order a floating IP address through the network page of your server in the Tilaa dashboard.
A standard floating IP address allows fail-over between servers in the same network segment and offers redundancy in case of hardware failures or planned maintenance. A global floating IP address allows for fail-over between our two datacenters and offers redundancy in case of major incidents such as a complete datacenter failure. For this purpose we provide a dedicated network, separated from our standard network.
