As a Senior Backend Developer, you have an important responsibility in the future development of our Tilaa platform. Over the past years we have achieved great things, but with the ambitions we have, there is still plenty to do. For example, we have set up a CI/CD pipeline that we will continue to develop. In order to be able to realize our desired growth, we have invested in marketing automation, and we will have to build various links from our customized applications in order to be able to run the right campaigns.
The new configurator we released last year continues to be improved, and we expect you to come up with new functionalities to ensure that our customers get the servers they have ordered.
You enter the office (if you’re not working from home), you start up your Macbook and grab a cup of coffee, (or latte, or cappuccino, or tea…). First you'll check the scrum board to see the progress on the sprint. Aftet the daily standup and 10.00, you'll have a chat with a colleague who needs a but of help. Then you'll check the comments you received on the pull request for which you have disconnected a part of the application in a package.In the afternoon you'll sit down with the team to discuss the current architecture, after having sat down with the Product Owner yesterday to go through the roadmap. The current architecture needs to be modified in order to realize this roadmap. Together with the rest of the team you'll discuss the ways in which this can be implemented.

You have a completed an education in IT
Excellent knowledge of and experience with PHP, Python, Linux and other techniques in our tech stack
Proven experience with at least two different frameworks
Experience with CI/CD and writing unit and integration tests
Experience with static code analysis and familiarity with the PSR standards
As senior professional we expect you to be a good communicator, both within your team and with the Product Owner and other stakeholders. You are strong on an analytical level, solution-oriented and able to coach colleagues. Of course, you write well-documented, low-maintenance and 'self explanatory' code.
