Tomorrow, Wednesday 29th July, might be a decisive day for the Four Horsemen of the Tech Industry. Mark Zuckerberg, Jeff Bezos, Tim Cook and Sundar Pichai will be facing the US Congress hearing on anti-competitive practices.
The FAAG (Facebook, Apple, Amazon and Google - aka "Alphabet") are facing charges of overwhelming dominance of internet platforms and the Judiciary Committee has investigated if they are guilty of antitrust abuse.
Jeff Bezos of Amazon, the richest man in the world, is currenty worth 186 billion dollar, only slightly poorer than the entire Quote 500 (all of the 500 richest people in the Netherlands put together).
Since 'the four' does not even include Microsoft (Bill Gates, 2nd richest man in the world), or some of the other dominant businesses (NATU - Netflix, Airbnb, Tesla & Uber), or the Chinese counterparts BATX (Baidu, Alibaba, Tencent and Xiaomi) there is more to come. Big Tech will be held accountable for their actions.
You can watch it all live (probably with virtual appearances of the four) on Congressional Hearings
